February 2024 - Gratitude and Wonder

Might have noticed last month I kept missing days.

...maybe I will stay on top of it better.

1	for groceries and batteries for the narwhal.	how the months can go by so quickly.
2	for time at the park to let Ian play	how great is God's faithfulness
3	for walks at the trail and seeing birds in their habitats.	how beautiful God's creation is and wonderous it is.
4	for Ian eating a little better	how the weather affects how we feel.
5	for Eric's new truck not blowing up since it's been bought. Hopefully it won't ever... (we just found out it was on recall before he even traded his old truck in for this one, and they NEVER had the parts to fix it and didn't tell us upfront. Also just found out AFTER scheduling to take it in for the recall, that we drove up there for absolutely nothing because they NEVER had a solution to the problem)	how a little wind can make it so much colder than the temperature says.
6	for Ian at least trying the chicken nugget.	How God sustains us.
7	for Eric having good coworkers who think of him and go out of their way to celebrate his birthday.	How God gives us so much grace every day.
8	for getting through today and Ian at least eating something and drinking his juice finally.	How spring can come when it pleases
9	for Ian not throwing up after numerous meltdowns.	How the weather does as it wills.
10	For getting to go out to town and shop, and having safe travels in the rain.	How one could literally drive through a wall of rain from a dry spot.
11	For us getting to go to church and Ian doing so well especially when he interacted with others.	How Ian can be so shy and not willing to open up with some people but does for others he barely knows.
12	For getting through today and getting some stuff done	How it's just getting colder and not warmer...
13	FOr a great session with Speech therapist for Ian today	How Ian seems to just have a light turn on and start doing things
14	For Ian eating really good this morning. For getting the house clean. For the delicious dinner. For a sale on Catit products.	How I always seem to find more things to buy. And How I misplace things.
15	FOr nicer weather I guess.	How the birds wake me up.
16	For getting to enjoy the very short-lived nice weather this morning; I got to bird-watch a little and Ian got to run around for a while with his dad outside, exploring and doing new things (like picking up a pan of old acorns that I had piled up in winter, and walking them down to the edge of woods).	How the birds can sometimes let us get just close enough to see them, and other times fly away before we can even get a glimpse.

22	Ian getting a haircut and doing so well even when he got a buzz for first time.	how some people are just really nice and love what they do.

24	for Ian getting to go to the park.	how some parents are so careless.
25	For Ian getting a good nap though it was late	how the weather doesn't seem to know what it wants to do.
